Sara Evans

Sarah Sarah Sara SaraSara Evans has only had one lifelong dream she has always wanted to compose and sing country music. Evans has been quoted saying, "God has put me on this earth to be a singer." That's according to John Meroney from American Enterprise. "It's the thing I'm passionate about and do, more than anything else, and I'm going to make it." Moreover, Evans wanted to succeed in bringing back the classic songs of the country genre, which were re-created by the legendary artists like Patsy Cline, Hank Snow, Tammy Wynette, George Jones and Patty Loveless, musicians Evans considered her greatest sources of inspiration. During the late 1990s, an era when most aspiring country music stars turned to new popular radio tunes Evans established herself by performing country songs that drew inspiration from the past, exemplified by her debut album from 1997, True Lies. True Lies, though it received positive reviews and was nominated by the Academy of Country Music for 1998's top new female artist but failed to create an impact. Thus, for her follow-up release, 1998's No Place That Far, Evans bowed to producers, who persuaded the artist to freshen up her music and then finally received the acknowledgement she'd longed for since her childhood. Sara Evans, born on February 5, 1971, in Columbia Missouri she is an American singer-songwriter. The first years she spent there, along with her six siblings and brothers.
